ARENA RECYCLING INDUSTRY

In Dar es salaam Tanzania about 4,600 tons of plastic are produced daily. Arena Recycling industry we recycle plastic waste into building Material Bricks.we offer Eco bricks made up with plastics for construction of affordable houses and toilets

TEMEKE DISTRICT is low income community located in southern Dar es salaam Tanzania with Population of 768,451 people between them only 18% have adequate latrine toilets but 82% they don't have safe and adequate toilets and wash bath ,also the the district has no enough pit latrine one school use one pit latrine for 200 students .The number are just aspects of situation as majority of latrine are also of poor quality ,Particularly for example VIJIBWENI PRIMARY SCHOOL in Temeke district the school has 2,600 student ,only 2 toilet and neither a piped water connected as well.in Temeke Dar es salaam 9% of all mortality death for children under 5 is due to diarrhea in community .The prevalance of epidemic disease is causing death for children under 5 and student absenteeism both because of illness and time spent

4.3 million people are living on Dar es salaam ,87% they are low and middle income earned and they dont have access to their basic needs such as stardard toilets .And Temeke district is highly affected area with lack of basic needs .

Our iniative will involve community to spread the awareness about plastic waste and the will work with local government arranging the collection of plastic waste through their household and street and use those plastic in production of affordable toilets.

These will be benefits for them first removing plastic in their environment and build toilets that will help to reduce and eliminate the risk of epidemic disease because most of them are defect in open area 

Collection Of Plastic waste in different polluted area especially beaches ,sorting and segregation process use them as a key resources for production of building material Eco-bricks which will used for construction of affordable toilets ,washing bath and water all tank as well as sewage disposal systems

Plastic are made up with polymers are highly resistance of sulfate and acid so it's very suitable for sewage disposal,due to it's resistance in acid and sulfate Eco bricks cannot rot also its water proof product it's cannot allow water to penetrate .

Our Plastic brick are very affront durable two time compared to cement bricks,anti-corrosive and also its anti-fungal.

So through this initiative the more we produce eco brick the more we save environment from plastic the more we reduce the problem of sanitation

For example we 1 toilet need 3,600 bricks there for its will require 1.6tons of plastic  .

We sell our products through app and website customer can choose product specifications and place a order

we use plastic for making Bricks we don't use cement at all ,our product is very durable ,very affordable two times compare to cement brick .

Its estimated that by 2050 People will choose to live in urban area ,so where are these people going to live without enough house and toilets ??

Our solution will help to build and construct affordable a house and toilets that will help people to access the basic needs

1.Not yet we are in stage of prototype ,we don't have a toilets that already builts  buy we are already collect more than 1 tons of plastic ,and we have 100 bricks that are already tested in Laboratory
