Starting a social venture from scratch can seem overwhelming, especially when that voice in your head creeps up saying, “You don’t have the expertise to create something impactful.”
We’ve put together a conversation with some of Solve’s youngest social entrepreneurs to prove that voice in your head wrong. Our Solver teams are here to tell you that you can absolutely create solutions to complex problems facing your communities, no matter how old you are. Being young is an asset, and you should absolutely embrace it. During this session, you’ll get to learn how our Solver teams got started, how they overcame their biggest challenges, and what advice they have for innovators like you.

“Asking questions isn't just about understanding the world, it’s a way of changing the world.” During this session, you’ll play the important role of advisor to Solv[ED] Challenge finalists. This means that you get to practice providing your personal expertise, insight and advice to help young innovators improve their ideas and solutions. You will decode problems, suggest new ideas and give constructive feedback where needed. And who knows? If you really love the team, you might have the chance to join them.
Join us to kick off the day with a live performance and warm welcomes from both MIT Solve’s Executive Director, Alex Amouyel, the Solv[ED] Youth Committee.
