Resilience Challenge Design Workshop

Join LISC Hampton Roads and RISE for an interactive and in-person discussion around opportunities for innovation to advance community resilience. Topics will focus on challenges in vulnerable communities, including environmental hazards, affordable housing, inequities in access to services, emergency response, and more.

Participants will play a key role in validating, shaping, and refining well-defined problems that hold significant  impact if addressed. LISC and RISE will then help source innovative solutions and work with partners - including workshop participants - to pilot those solutions in the living lab of Hampton Roads.

Here's just a sample of what you can expect:

1. A framing conversation with senior leaders working on resilience across different sectors.

2. Facilitated conversations to identify obstacles to community resilience and potential areas for innovations.

3. An opportunity to connect with cross-sector leaders from across SE Virginia and beyond.

4. A focus on the needs of underestimated communities and opportunities for catalytic systems change.
