About this Event
The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce in partnership with MIT Solve will host a virtual Solveathon on Saturday, January 30 to generate and refine great ideas to Global Challenges.
Solveathon workshops are highly interactive design workshops aimed at developing and improving great solutions to global challenges. You will meet new people, work on big ideas, and be a part of a global community. This event will be led by MIT Solve staff and trained facilitators to focus on improving ideas through the design thinking process around MIT's 2021 Challenge themes:
Resilient Ecosystems: Preserving and strengthening ecosystems services, including carbon mitigation.
Health Security and Pandemics: Protecting all people from health security threats and the impacts of disease outbreaks.
Equitable Classrooms and Learning Spaces: Reimagining learning environments for the next generation.
Digital Inclusion for Economic Justice: Ensuring equitable connectivity to access digital commerce and public services for everyone.
We welcome a diversity of backgrounds and experience levels. Everyone has their own passions and skills to bring to the table and can build on one another’s ideas. In order to attend, we ask that you submit an idea on how you might solve one of these challenges or the skills that you bring to a team solving this challenge. This will also be an opportunity for you to learn how to more effectively co-create and innovate in a virtual space. Come push boundaries with us, gain new insights, and have fun!
Due to the limited capacity of the event, we ask that you register as soon as possible in order to confirm your attendance. Thank you!
