Challenge Design Roundtable hosted by Solve

MIT Solve is hosting a 2020 Challenge Design Roundtable for MIT faculty and staff, to be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 12pm-2:00pm in the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP)'s City Arena.

Each year, Solve launches specific challenges around Economic Prosperity, Sustainability, Health, and Learning. Innovators around the globe submit their solutions on our open innovation platform, and we select the most exceptional teams as 'Solvers' and connect them with the resources they need to start up or scale up.

Our 2020 challenges will focus on the broad themes of Girls Education, Good Jobs & Inclusive Economic Growth, Maternal Health, and Sustainable Food Systems. We would like to use the experience and expertise of MIT's faculty and staff to inform what specific topics to focus on within these areas, considering campus, city, and global scales.

Over a complimentary lunch, we'll discuss the most important topics you see from your work, and the key needs and potential solutions that are out there to ensure that we pick a problem that is both important and that Solve can make a useful contribution towards.

This workshop is invitation-only for MIT faculty and staff.
