Johnson & Johnson Foundation
Johnson & Johnson Foundation (J&J) provided essential funding to MIT Solve’s innovator programming for the 2024 Health cohort, as well as funding to the innovators directly. Their programmatic support helped fuel the comprehensive suite of capacity-building activities social entrepreneurs received from Solve to grow and scale their work. J&J also directly provided funding to the full Health cohort, guaranteeing that all six Solver teams selected for the 2024 Health Challenge received at least $25,000 in prize funding from the Anchor Sponsor.
Increasing the prize pool for Health Solver teams attracted more solution submissions and gave J&J the latitude to impact more lives by supporting all six entrepreneurs from the outset.
This investment in Health Solver teams continues J&J’s commitment to tackling specific disparities and barriers to health access on a global scale.
