Meet the Solver Teams: Introducing our 8 Healthy Cities Innovators
More people are living in cities than ever before, and by mid-century, it’s estimated that more than 68 percent of people will call cities home.
Earlier this year, Solve announced our Healthy Cities Challenge in response to this massive demographic change. This Challenge asked: how can urban residents design and live in environments that promote physical and mental health?
We set out to find the most innovative and promising solutions that are improving the health, well being, and safety of urban residents. After reviewing 279 solutions (learn more about solution trends here), we narrowed the pool to 16 promising finalists who pitched their solutions at Solve Challenge Finals. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to the eight selected as Solver teams.
